Start with one good anchor
Choose one place near your base and treat any second stop as optional. A short garden visit or a manageable waterfront stroll can work better than a full-day sightseeing circuit. The 0–2 age filter is deliberately conservative: a visitable site is not automatically an activity recommendation for a baby.

Make the connections realistic
Ask specifically about a usable stroller route, changing facilities and where you can take a quiet break. Do not infer these from a venue being called family-friendly. Many outdoor places have no confirmed changing room in the available evidence.

Leave space for a pause
For siblings, plan one activity for the older child and an easy exit for the younger one. Pack familiar snacks where permitted, water and a light sun cover. Read site-specific food and bag restrictions before carrying a full picnic.
