The feel of the place

Why take the kids here?

Jus Jumpin in City Centre 2 offers a children’s play circuit of tunnels, slides, climbing and jumping inside the Rajarhat mall. Its obstacle-style Military Training Pathway gives confident children a route to repeat, while lower play areas can suit a gentler session. Keep it distinct from Simbaa in the same mall and from the adult-oriented ABC Square branch.

Which ages it suits

Official branch range six months to twelve years; assess each activity separately and confirm caregiver access.

City Centre 2 Jus Jumpin obstacles and a timed play session

  1. Confirm the City Centre 2 booking and locate the second-floor Jus Jumpin unit.
  2. Use the briefing to choose an age-appropriate tunnel-and-obstacle route.
  3. Repeat a favourite sequence, give a finishing warning and move to a separate meal or rest.
From the parent perspective

Planning Jus Jumpin City Centre 2 New Town with children

This branch suits a child who enjoys repeating a physical route. Let the session build confidence at the child’s pace rather than treating the number of completed attractions as the measure of value.

Let one obstacle sequence become the game

A tunnel, low climb and slide can form a satisfying repeated route. A child may gain more confidence from improving that sequence than from being hurried through every feature.

Keep the operator name on the mall plan

City Centre 2 contains multiple play businesses. Show the exact booking at the helpdesk so the family does not queue at the wrong unit or assume vouchers are interchangeable.

A route to crawl, balance and repeat

The operator identifies tunnels, wall climbing, a ball pit and a Military Training Pathway at this City Centre 2 branch. Treat the latter as an obstacle-play theme, not a formal training class. A child can choose a manageable sequence, repeat it and notice which section feels easier after practice.

For a child who enjoys movement but dislikes heights, a tunnel or lower obstacle can be a good starting point. Do not make completing every feature the goal. Repetition is useful play in its own right, and a familiar sequence may be more satisfying than moving constantly to the next attraction.

Slides and jumping need different supervision

The branch also describes wave and spiral slides, a hanging bridge and trampoline play. Before a child starts, identify the entrance, landing or exit and the rules for taking turns. A small child who can climb up may still need help understanding when the exit is clear.

The operator markets the venue to children from six months to twelve, but that wide range does not make the whole room appropriate for an infant. Ask staff to show the area matched to your child’s ability and whether an adult can enter to assist. Attendants are not a substitute for clarifying the family’s supervision responsibility.

City Centre 2 prices and the one-hour comparison

The official table gives ₹350 for thirty minutes and ₹450 for sixty minutes on both weekday and weekend columns. BookMyShow currently lists a one-hour City Centre 2 product from ₹400 for October dates. Compare the exact booking and its inclusions rather than assuming an offer changes every counter price.

The official page contradicts itself on socks: ₹40 in the table, ₹60 in the rules. At the operator’s sixty-minute rate, one child plus a new pair would be ₹490–₹510 using those alternatives, before any adult or booking charge. Two such children would be ₹980–₹1,020. Confirm the actual amount and whether previous grip socks are acceptable.

Find the second-floor Jus Jumpin unit

Use City Centre 2 in Rajarhat/New Town, not City Centre Salt Lake. The operator places Jus Jumpin on the second floor, while Simbaa’s separately verified branch is first floor in C Block. The generic phrase family zone is not enough to distinguish these purchases.

Keep the exact operator name on your booking and use the mall helpdesk if the unit label is unclear. Arrive early enough for toilets, socks and the briefing rather than starting the hour while still organising belongings. Confirm lift access and stroller storage when needed; a mall location does not automatically explain the route inside the play space.

Food and a parent’s role during play

The brand promotes refreshments and prohibits outside food in the play area. Plan a meal after the session, when the child can sit and recover, rather than trying to combine eating with active play. Ask what drinking-water and food-break rules apply before the timer starts.

Parents can use the advertised resting arrangements while remaining available, but do not assume a play ticket includes leaving the child for an independent shopping trip. Agree who watches each sibling and where the family will meet if a child exits early. The transition out of play is easier when the next step is already clear.

Choose one mall play venue rather than collecting both

City Centre 2 offers more than one children’s play operator. Compare the usable activities, child fit and final price, then choose one session rather than paying for two similar rooms in succession. A child who wants a longer active challenge may be better served by another date at ABC Square than by duplicating soft-play admission in the same afternoon.

A local mall outing can be deliberately simple: play, food and home. It need not be combined with Eco Park or a museum to feel complete. For visitors staying elsewhere in Kolkata, include the actual Rajarhat journey in the decision so the session is not squeezed between long transfers.

Questions parents ask

Is Jus Jumpin City Centre 2 the same as Simbaa?

No. They are separate operators and units. Jus Jumpin is listed on the second floor; Simbaa lists first-floor C Block. Compare their own tickets and age rules.

What is the Military Training Pathway here?

It is the operator’s name for an obstacle-play route involving movement and coordination, not a formal military or sports-training class.

Does the seller’s all-age label mean adults can use this arena?

The branch’s specific guidance describes children aged six months to twelve. Ask about adult participation rather than overriding that with a broad seller category; ABC Square has the dedicated adult option.

How much is one hour at Jus Jumpin City Centre 2?

The operator publishes ₹450, and the current October seller starts at ₹400. Confirm the selected product, date and inclusions before paying.

What should we allow for a first visit with new socks?

Using the operator’s ₹450 hour and its conflicting ₹40/₹60 sock figures gives ₹490–₹510 for one child before any other charge. Confirm the counter amount and adult terms.

Can a baby use the same obstacle circuit as an older child?

No such suitability is implied by the broad age range. Ask staff for the appropriate small-child area and caregiver access before booking.

Is City Centre 2 in Salt Lake?

No. This guide is for Rajarhat/New Town’s City Centre 2, a different mall from City Centre Salt Lake.

Should we book Jus Jumpin and Simbaa on the same day?

Usually one well-chosen session is enough. Compare the actual rooms and child preferences, then leave time for food and rest instead of buying two similar play experiences.
